Terms of Service

§ 1 Scope

These Terms of Service apply to the use of the platform MatchMy.Team, operated by Michael Brauner, Hofwiesen 8, 4210 Gallneukirchen, Austria (hereinafter "Provider").

By registering, the user accepts these Terms of Service. Deviating terms of the user are not recognized unless the Provider expressly agrees to their validity in writing.

§ 2 Subject matter

The Provider operates a web-based matchmaking platform that enables teams and companies to bring participants together for conversations and collaboration. The exact scope of services is defined by the current service description on the website.

§ 3 Registration and user account

Registration is required to use the platform. The user is obliged to provide truthful and complete information and to keep it up to date.

Each user may only create one account. Login credentials must be kept confidential. The user is liable for all activities that occur through their account.

§ 4 User obligations

The user agrees not to misuse the platform. In particular, it is prohibited to:

  • Provide false personal information
  • Violate the rights of third parties
  • Distribute malware or technically manipulate the platform
  • Use the platform for unlawful purposes

§ 5 Availability

The Provider strives for uninterrupted availability of the platform but does not guarantee a specific level of availability. Maintenance, technical disruptions, or force majeure may lead to temporary restrictions.

§ 6 Limitation of liability

The Provider is liable without limitation for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, as well as for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

For slight negligence, the Provider is only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations. In such cases, liability is limited to the foreseeable, contract-typical damage.

Liability for loss of data is limited to the typical recovery effort that would have occurred with regular and appropriate data backup.

§ 7 Prices and payment

The first matching with up to 20 participants is free of charge. After that, use of the platform is subject to fees. Current prices are listed on the website.

All prices include statutory value added tax, unless otherwise stated.

§ 8 Termination and account deletion

The user may delete their account at any time without giving reasons. Deletion is available through the account settings.

The Provider may suspend or delete the user account in case of violation of these Terms of Service or misuse.

§ 9 Changes to Terms of Service

The Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service. Changes will be communicated to the user by email. If the user does not object within 30 days of receiving the notification of changes, the amended Terms of Service are deemed accepted.

§ 10 Final provisions

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is Linz, Austria, to the extent permitted by law.

Should individual provisions of these Terms of Service be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
